A simple, efficient solution for print-media stock management
With the Mobile Press Portal for print-media retailers, scheduled for release from 1 July 2023, 7Days is creating an innovative nationwide standard. Available in all national languages, the app bundles all the relevant information and process steps together – digitally and centrally.
The guiding principle behind the app’s development was to digitalize and streamline existing processes, thus making the management of the print-media product group more attractive and resource-focused.
To ensure that print-media products remain an integral part of the stocks carried by various retail formats in the medium to long term, we aim to support sales staff with simple, innovative services.
The Mobile Press Portal provides eight central functions, with stock management – two services, stock check and catalogue – playing a significant role. In addition, delivery and return complaints can be processed, parcel labels for returns processing can be ordered, and important documents and statistics can be accessed digitally.
The application can be installed and used on portable devices with the iOS and Android operating systems. It can also be accessed via all common web browsers. This app places us exactly where print-media products are also placed: directly on the shelves, with up-to-date information.
The objective of our proximity to the market and to our customers and partners is to bring our products to life. As with all market-oriented app developments, the MPP follows the principle that our customers interact synchronously with our operative ERP system. Transactions that a customer enters must lead to an immediate, binding response on the fly. This state-of-the-art feature should be standard in our industry.
